Every single day people make good money by running CPA campaigns. And every single day people lose money by running CPA campaigns. Why do some people make money while others lose it? Well, there are many reasons. However, there are two keys to running a successful CPA campaign. These keys are having a great relationship with your AM and split-testing along with tracking.
When you sign-up with most CPA companies you will be assigned an Account Manager (AM) who will work with you and help you get your campaigns off the ground. Azoogle, which is probably the best CPA company, is one example of a company that will assign you an AM.
It is imperative that you develop a great relationship with your AM. This way the AM will truly care what happens to you and he or she will really want to help you succeed. This means your AM will let you know when a great offer if about to happen and he or she will also let you know when to stay away from a particular offer.
To get your relationship off on the right foot, you should email your AM as soon as you know his or her name. Tell your AM who you are and what you hope to accomplish. Then let your AM know that you plan to work very hard and that you’re very excited to learn a lot from him or her. Then thank your AM for being willing to help you. This will get you started on the right foot and will eventually help you run multiple successful CPA campaigns.
The second key to running a successful CPA campaign is tracking and split-testing. Tracking refers to you getting stats about how each campaign is doing all the way down to how each keyword is performing. Split-testing refers to you creating more than one ad or landing page or whatever and then seeing how each performs. Then when you track each one, you’ll be able to discover what’s working and what isn’t working.
There are a lot of different tools you can buy that will help with both split-testing and tracking. Some of these products are fairly cheap while others are quite expensive. Which product you decide to buy is completely up to you. Just make sure you read any reviews you can find, ask on forums for suggestions, and remember that in this case for the most part you get what you pay for.
Some people are very successful running CPA campaigns while others aren’t successful at all. There are many reasons why some people are great with CPA campaigns while others aren’t good at all. However, two keys to running a successful CPA campaign are getting along well with your AM and being sure to always split-test and track all of your campaigns.
